• Description:

  An original, Nova Scotia Militia officers belt and belt buckle! These N.S. militia items are relatively scarce. This item is an original buckle mounted on the correct and original waist belt. The buckle is typical English, two piece construction and is numbered with SN#9 on both pieces. The buckle is silver plated or German silver with the Mayflower and crown plated in gold. Some of the original gilt remains on the wording Nova Scotia. It is ironic that within the last year we also obtained the buckle serial #8. The leather belt is very sound showing only light grazing and minor cracks. This is a very scarce piece of Nova Scotia militia miliaria. A piece for the militaria collector.
