• Description:

  An excellent copy of a 2nd Model Brown Bess musket.  This example shows a 42" barrel, 75 caliber with a bright excellent bore.  The maker information ,makers name and "Black Powder" was removed by a former owner.  This piece appears to be very well made.  The top of the barrel is marked proof tested and shows a BP mark.  All of the component parts were hand polished by the prior owner.  A flash guard, frizzen cover were fitted as well as a buff leather sling.  An excellent piece for the black powder shooter or re-enactor.  Professional advice should be obtained regarding the proper powder change.  Non restricted.
